Learn how to use HDR Efex Pro 2 presets

September 19, 2013 by Rod Lawton

06 Create a new preset

HDR Efex Pro 2 presets

The presets that come with HDR Efex Pro 2 are shown in the Preset Library section of the preset panel on the left. But below this is a Custom section, and if you click the ‘+’ button next to this, you’ll be prompted to choose a name for your new preset.

07 Custom presets

I’ve called my preset ‘Rainy Day’, and it now appears in the Custom section of the presets panel – you just click on the Custom heading and the panel expands.

08 Share your preset

If it’s only you that’s going to use this preset, then you don’t need to go any further, but if you want to share your preset with other people (or just back it up for safety), then select the preset(s) and click the Export All button at the bottom of the panel. You’re now prompted to choose a location on your hard disk to save the preset to.
